So what has been happening. Well first of all, I was injured in a fall on October 16th and had surgery on my knee. So I was off work on Worker's Comp until January. Came back to "light duties" and was quite happily occupying myself, tidying up in groceries, and putting back loose stock that people leave lying around the store. Then one day - a customer dropped a packet of lollies (candy to you) and I bent down to pick them up for her. Disaster! Threw my back out - couldn't move!! So - off on Worker's Comp again for another two months - finally went back to work properly last Monday after getting clearance from the doctor.
So far all is well - back in my "home" at work - the Deli! The opinion was that due to the problem with my knee, my back had been getting weaker and was just ready to "go". There is apparently very little disc left in one of my lower vertebra - almost bone to bone! What a prospect for my very old age!
